About the Speaker:
Kathy Sillaway Ulrich - A lifelong follower of Jesus Christ, Kathy Ulrich threads together her background in acting, music and education to produce a transcendent musical theater experience that ushers audiences into the presence of God.
Kathy’s professional acting career includes the following:
• The Boston company of Godspell
• The American Theatre Festival
• The New York Shakespeare Festival
• Boston Public Television, the role of Emily Dickerson
A graduate of Boston University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theater, Kathy also holds a Masters in Elementary Education from Long Island University. She taught music for seven years in Christian schools where she produced three original Christmas musicals.
For five years she worked with the Theater of Light, an affiliate of Lincoln Center Institute, doing songwriting workshops in elementary schools and performing an original musical presentation called Faithwalk. She has written children’s songs for VBS programs for Standard Publishing and also for Music Precedent, a national resource of Christian songs for children. She also has composed and produced “He Is Risen”, a Musical Passion Play that has been performed in churches throughout the Northeast. She has ministered at many different churches with her presentation, Women of Influence, which is a musical and dramatic exploration of seven women of the Bible.
Kathy’s greatest desire is to use her gifts to draw others into an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ. She has three married sons, three beautiful daughters-in- law and one Grandson. She lives in Washington Crossing, PA. with her loving husband.
